    The Importance of a Refresh Button

    I awoke yesterday morning with one mission in my mind: write an article. My deadline was midnight, so I had plenty of time. I knew my topic, or at least the overall theme of my topic. However, when I placed my fingers on the keyboard, no words accompanied them. I didn’t freak out, this has happened many times (commonly at the most unfortunate of moments).     Birthday Reflections

      A year ago, I wouldn’t have been brave enough to write something like this and share it with anyone other than my closest confidants, but I’ve grown a lot in a year. Some of you know I stopped celebrating my “Birthday” at the age of twenty-one, I preferred the term “anniversary” after that. But this year, I’m celebrating twenty-seven, partly because I have a dark and twisted fascination with the age and number (that’s just the way my brain works), but more so because I’m ready to take on age twenty-seven with a full throttle force.
